Our Journey

Children Impact and Development Initiative (CIDI) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission since 2011. We are committed to nurturing the next generation by supporting children’s welfare and development. Mentally, socially, medically, and otherwise. We work with key stakeholders government, policy makers, communities, parents, and guardians to protect children’s rights and create opportunities for them to thrive. For over a decade, we have been shaping lives and preparing young people to become problem-solvers in society.

Our work is funded through book sales and voluntary support from family, friends, and partners. We believe you can be part of this vision to secure the future we all desire.

Dr. Adetoun Dally

Founder & Executive Director

Adetoun leads CIDI as Founder and Executive Director, drawing on nearly 30 years of experience and broad training across education, psychology, leadership, and management.

Dr. Amina Batagarawa

Secretary, Advisory Board

Amina is a senior lecturer in Baze University. She is the Chairman of Energy Transition Committee of Women in Renewable Energy -Associations (WIRE -A) Dr. Batagarawa is passionate about contributing to a sustainable environment.

Barr. Ugochukwu Ezeihekaibee

Legal Adviser

Ugochukwu is a seasoned legal practitioner. He has practiced for over two decades. Ezeihekaibe promotes peaceful and law abiding co-existence in his community.

Mr. Rex Otaba (ACCA)

Financial Adviser

Rex is a Chartered Accountant committed to upholding the ethics of the profession as he ensures and guides in the area of transparency and accountability. Otaba contributes to providing accountable leadership.
